West Michigan Regional Airport is owned and managed by the West Michigan Airport Authority. Formed in 2008, the WMAA is made up of representatives from three local municipalities: City of Holland, Park Township and City of Zeeland. Residents of these municipalities voted to approve the support of the airport and creation of an authority. The WMAA oversees the budget and operation of West Michigan Regional Airport, as well as the relationship with the Fixed Base Operator: Tulip City Air Service.
