History

The Tulip City Airport was established as a GI training ground in the early 1940s during World War II. It was later converted into a public airport, offering flying lessons and charter flights for public and corporate use. Through the years, the Tulip City Airport has enabled better business practices, trained responsible pilots, and provided a consistent incentive for new developments looking to expand in a strategic location that will benefit and grow their business.
